After skimming through the brief I decided I needed to gain a feel for 'photo-essays' so a quick google search brought up an interesting photoessay about foods around the world.

It contains 16 Images from different countries globally.

An answer to a question, using your camera as a pen. I Like it!

It contains some really interesting stats about the food expenditure per image.

Chad: The Aboubakar family of Breidjing Camp

Food expenditure for one week: 685 CFA Francs or $1.23
Favorite foods: soup with fresh sheep meat.

The contrast between this family and a typical america family is shocking. But then again, its a great example of an essay.
